Update On ASL Energy Pte. Ltd.

Pursuant to the MASNET announcements made on 9th January 2004, the Company wishes to announce that as agreed by all parties concerned, the signing of the formal Sales and Purchase Agreement and Option Agreement (the "Agreements") will take place in May 2004.

Further announcement will be made as and when the Agreements are signed or when entering into any definitive agreement which may be material.
